Mass Timber Training Network (MTAT) supports the advancement of wood as a low-carbon building material by addressing key barriers to mass timber adoption: skills shortages, the lack of standardized curriculum and gaps in the broader prefabrication/offsite (pre-fab) construction sector.

This project directly addresses these gaps through three interlocking deliverables: convene a network of key stakeholders, develop a skilled trades educational framework for integrating mass timber, and create a baseline for accelerating pre-fab construction education broadly.
